The Democrat and Chronicle's seven-part series, "Race in Rochester: 50 Years After Brown vs Board of Education," will explore the lack of equity and racial integration in most of our local schools. The series will examine: the economic and racial divide between city and suburbs; being black in a white suburban school; being white in a black city school; Monroe County's most integrated district; how to integrate our public schools.
