Site Entry Round-up (Dec. 2005)

bangalore.jpgEnd the semester projects, Christmas, new PowerBook...just craziness. Sorry for the delay in updating the database...but there's been some good ones. Check out the recent entries. BTW, if you want to see what I bookmark with the intent for Interactive Narratives, you can subscribe to my Delicious/for:Interactives page. But some of the highlights for the month of December are:

  • The New Silicon Valley? Booming in Bangalore - Excellent! And yes...it's about time. The San Jose Mercury News photo department has been releasing some good Audio Slideshows and Video Presentations since they launched, but it's great to see them do some more extensive multimedia.
  • Exploring The Chesapeake: Then & Now - Second Story just can't get it wrong. The comparison between the Then and the Now is a great example of how to take interactivity and make it useful.
  • Folksongs For The Fivepoints - This was a nice find for fellow contributor Kim Grinfeder. Thanks Kim. More art than narrative...but a wonderful project in any case.
  • Letting Go : Dylan - Great to see how people are using SoundSlides and customizing it to fit their content and site design.
