InDesign Palette Setup
Below is a screen grab of how I setup my InDesign palettes when I'm working on a dual-monitor system. The setup allows for maximum access to the most frequently used palette when I'm designing a page. However, when I'm using my laptop screen only, I simply cascade these palettes over each other.

In addition, you can also download this 'InDesign Defaults' file and put it in the appropriate Preference location (User > Library > Preferences > Adobe InDesign > Version 2.0) to get the same palette setup.
